Space Heaters

Design starts with people: how they use heat at home, where they place it, and what makes them feel safe leaving it on. From those insights, I explore form through sketches and rough models, working closely with engineers from the start so airflow, heating elements, and safety features like tip-over protection and cool-touch surfaces are built into the design rather than added later. I then refine physical prototypes with real users to test proportions, controls, and stability, and choose materials and finishes that are durable, heat-resistant, and visually warm. The final stage prepares the design for manufacturing and safety certification, resulting in a heater that works reliably, feels safe, and looks great.
